The Story
Last fall we reached out to friends on PEI seeking quince fruit. Several individuals responded and were happy to let us raid their trees. The fruit was crushed & co-fermented with apple juice and left to age for 6 months. We are thrilled with the result and proud to launch the 2021 version of Slices of Quince. It is a subtle but beguiling drink with delicate floral perfume that conceals a potent spirited finish. The name comes from the Edward Lear poem The Owl and the Pussycat.
Continuing a tradition started last year with our inaugural quince cider, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Island Nature Trust. 6.5ABV, $5 from each bottle goes to the Island Nature trust. $20/bottle.
Thanks to all the individuals who donated fruit for this product and we hope you like it as much as we do. ❤️
Only 200 bottles available so grab one while you can!
